Yoga by the pond

Monday:

Meditation: 5:15 - 5:30 pm
Yoga: 5:30 - 6:30pm

Wednesday:

Meditation: 8:30 - 8:45 am
Yoga: 8:45 - 9:45 am

Meditation:

Guided meditations that will quiet the mind and leave you feeling inner joy and peace.

Yoga Basics:

fundamental posture principles and breathwork. For people with no prior experience.

Pilates Yoga: a mix of core stregthening excercises and standing yoga poses.

Back Care Yoga: gentle, restorative postures. For people suffering from back pain or recovering from illness /injury.

Yoga II: a mix of yoga postures, dynamic flow, and partner yoga. For people with yoga experience.

Gentle Yoga: a combination of chair yoga and simple postures using props. For older people and those desiring more flexibility, balance and strength.

Student Information

Yoga by the pond

  • Be on time. Classes start promptly
  • Wear loose/stretchy clothing (nothing baggy)
  • Leave your shoes and socks in the coatroom
  • No cell phones or pagers in class
  • Mats and props are available. Bring your own if you have them.
  • All classes start with breath meditation, and end with deep relaxation
  • If you have a medical condition or serious ailment, let us know before class.

Yoga/meditation cost:
1 hour classes...$10 drop-in, $80 for a block of ten classes.

Retreats: you can book the whole of Sharon Spring Cabin for the day or half day. You can use all of the facilities in the cabin and the hot tub! Swimming in the pond, too. Massage and sauna are extra.
