Recommended in Fairview
Sharon Spring Cabin is situated in one of the most perfect locations for great things to do while you're here in Asheville. Toward town, there is a plethora of Asheville related things to do, including the Blue Ridge Parkway, The WNC Nature Center, the eclectic downtown music scene and so much more.

In Fairview, the home of Sharon Spring Cabin, you will be hard-pressed to find such local splendor anywhere else in the region. The Hickory Nut Gap Farm, only a few minutes up the road is the local organic farm; offering apples (take a tour in the fall!), organic meats and so many fun farm animals.

Another local gem, the Flying Cloud Farm in Fairview is dedicated to producing local vegetables and other sustainable goods for market and local produce offerings. A true family owned and run business, Flying Cloud is proud to offer only the best from Fairview.
Cane Creek Asparagus & Company CSA: Our Local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). www.CaneCreekCSA.com
Stay at Sharon Spring Cabin and volunteer at The Lord's Acre, our beautiful community garden to feed the hungry.
Horseback riding can also be a great adventure, a local, Annie Ager, offers her services to those interested during certain portions of the year (mostly in the summer and fall) - inquire when making reservations. Although not unique to just Fairview, these self-sustaining ecologically friendly and organic farms are an indispensible resource and rich cultural tool that so many locals rely on year-round for their needs.
